It was a beautiful morning when I went out to take Sam for a walk around 7:00 am.  It was cloudy and wet, from raining all night.  The sun was obviously trying to throw off it's fluffy, gray blanket but losing the battle.  In fact, I think the sun went back to bed and let the day fend for itself in the bitter cold and rain.
